FlutterFlow is a visual development environment built on Google's Flutter framework. You assemble screens and logic in a drag-and-drop editor, connect Firebase, Supabase or any REST API, and ship the result to the App Store, Google Play, web and desktop from one project. The decisive feature is that a paid plan lets you download the generated Flutter source code, so the day you outgrow the editor you hand a real codebase to a developer instead of starting over.

Its template and component library is deep, store deployment is one click on the Growth tier, and a VS Code extension arrives on the higher plans. AI features run on per-seat credit allowances.

Who it is for

Teams whose product is mobile-first and who care about owning the output. Agencies use it heavily for exactly that reason. The honest caveat is that once you leave the happy path you are debugging Flutter and Dart concepts through a visual layer, so a basic grasp of how Flutter works stops being optional as the app grows.
