Best FlutterFlow alternatives

FlutterFlow is a visual builder that generates Flutter code for native iOS, Android and web apps, used by founders and agencies who want mobile apps without hand-writing all of the code.

Free; Basic $39/mo ($29/mo billed yearly); Pro $80/mo ($60/mo yearly, up to 2 editors); Max $150/mo ($113/mo yearly, up to 5 editors). Code and APK download start at Basic, and real-time collaboration starts at Pro. Source

Quick Answer: FlutterFlow alternatives

If you want to stay visual and still ship native apps, Adalo is simpler and Bubble's mobile beta shares one backend with a web app. If you are moving to AI coding like many former FlutterFlow users, Replit can build and ship iOS apps, while Claude Code or Cursor can carry on an exported Flutter codebase. If a web app is enough, Lovable is the cheapest switch.

Why people leave FlutterFlow

  • The 2025 plan change raised prices.

FlutterFlow replaced its Standard, Pro and Teams plans with new ones on August 18, 2025, moving accounts over automatically by mid-September. One community post said the new plans cost twice as much for the same plan and leave out indie developers. community.flutterflow.io

  • Recurring bugs and unstable releases.

A July 2025 post lists Test Mode down for weeks, a broken code editor, branch merging that never worked, and a backlog of '500+ bugs'. forum.bubble.io

  • Users feel bug fixes lose out to AI features.

A FlutterFlow community post asks the team to spend a month on bugs and QA, saying fixes are deprioritized in favour of DreamFlow and other AI work. community.flutterflow.io

  • Custom code slows down work, and AI coding tools are now an option.

One agency owner said a two-day task took a week because custom code did not work, and that his company's current project will be its last on FlutterFlow before moving to AI coding tools. community.flutterflow.io

6 alternatives, and who each one suits

Listed by use case, not by who pays us. Prices from each tool's official pricing page.

  1. 01

    Adalo

Free plan; Builder $65/mo ($52/mo billed yearly); Business $200/mo source
    Best for
Non-developers who want a simpler visual builder that still publishes native apps to the App Store and Google Play, with the database included.
    Fixes
Complexity and custom-code friction; separate Firebase or Supabase setup.
    Skip it if
You need to download and own the app's source code, which FlutterFlow offers and Adalo's pricing page does not list.
  2. 02

    Bubble

Free plan; Starter $32/mo billed yearly; Growth $119/mo billed yearly source
    Best for
Teams whose app needs a lot of backend logic. Bubble includes the database and workflows, and web and native mobile versions can share one backend. Native mobile is in public beta.
    Fixes
Backend setup burden; bug-backlog frustration (large forum and agency ecosystem).
    Skip it if
You want to own the code or need mature native mobile today, since Bubble cannot export code and its mobile builder is still beta.
  3. 03

    Replit

Free plan; Core $20/mo ($18/mo billed yearly); Pro from $100/mo source
    Best for
People moving to AI-built apps who want one place to build, host and ship an iOS app. Replit builds React Native/Expo apps and publishes to the App Store.
    Fixes
Price increases; slow custom-code work (the agent writes code directly).
    Skip it if
You need to publish directly to Google Play, which Replit's docs say is not supported yet.
  4. 04

    Claude Code

Included with Claude Pro $20/mo; Max from $100/mo source
    Best for
Developers who download their FlutterFlow code (Basic plan and up) and keep building it as a normal Flutter project, with an agent doing the editing.
    Fixes
Platform bugs (no visual editor in between); per-seat pricing.
    Skip it if
Nobody on the team is comfortable with a terminal, a codebase and app-store build tools.
  5. 05

    Cursor

Free plan; Plus $8/mo (Grok only); Premium $30/mo; Teams from $30/user/mo source
    Best for
Developers continuing an exported Flutter codebase in an AI code editor. It suits people who want to review every change in an editor rather than a terminal.
    Fixes
    Platform bugs; per-seat visual-builder pricing.
    Skip it if
You want Claude or GPT models on the cheap plan: Plus ($8) is Grok-only, and Claude and GPT start at Premium ($30) with that usage billed separately at API list price.
  6. 06

    Lovable

    Free plan; Pro $25/mo source
    Best for
Founders whose 'mobile app' could be a responsive web app. Lovable builds it from prompts and syncs the code to GitHub, at a lower entry price than FlutterFlow Basic billed monthly.
    Fixes
    Price increases; slow custom-code work.
    Skip it if
You need a native app in the App Store or Google Play, since Lovable builds web apps.

FlutterFlow alternatives: questions

Is there a free alternative to FlutterFlow?
Adalo, Bubble, Replit, Cursor and Lovable have free plans as of 2026-11-07. Publishing a native app to the stores generally needs a paid plan, plus Apple's $99/year developer account.
What is cheaper than FlutterFlow?
FlutterFlow Basic is $39/mo ($29 billed yearly). Cursor Plus is $8/mo (Grok only), Replit Core $20/mo, Claude Pro (with Claude Code) $20/mo, and Lovable Pro $25/mo. Adalo Builder ($65/mo) costs more but includes the backend.
Can I keep my FlutterFlow app if I leave?
Yes, on a paid plan. Code download is on Basic and above, so you can export the Flutter project and keep working on it in any editor, including Cursor or Claude Code. The Free plan cannot download code.
What happened to FlutterFlow's old plans?
FlutterFlow retired its Standard, Pro and Teams plans and launched new ones on August 18, 2025, and accounts that did not choose a plan were moved automatically in mid-September 2025. Its pricing page on 2026-11-07 lists Free, Basic, Pro and Max.

Checked 7 November 2026. Checked 2026-11-07. FlutterFlow's 2025 blog and docs call the new plans Basic, Growth and Business, but the live pricing page now shows Basic, Pro and Max; prices here follow the live page. The blog gives September 17, 2025 as the auto-migration date and the docs say September 18. The 'twice the price' complaint is one user's claim; I could not see old-versus-new prices on an official page. Two community posts show only 'a year ago' rather than an exact date. One complaint source is a post about FlutterFlow on Bubble's forum, which carries some bias. I did not confirm that Adalo has no code export beyond its pricing page not listing it. Lovable Pro $25 and Claude Pro $20 / Max $100 come from the caller's verified list; Cursor prices match cursor.com/pricing as read today. How we choose and how we make money: disclosure.
