What you actually get
- Auth that works โ Supabase Auth with email + Google sign-in, magic links, password reset, session management.
- Real Stripe billing โ production mode, webhooks handling subscription state changes, customer portal, dunning for failed payments.
- One core feature loop โ the thing your users actually pay for. Built well. Tested. Loaded.
- Admin dashboard โ signups, MRR, churn, active users, user impersonation for debugging.
- Transactional email โ welcome, password reset, payment receipts, churn warnings. Wired to Resend with your domain authenticated.
- Landing page โ hero, pricing, FAQ, social proof slots. Tailwind + shadcn so you can edit copy without us.
- Deployment โ pushed to your Vercel account, your domain, your Supabase, your Stripe. Env vars documented.
The stack and why
Next.js 16 App Router on Vercel for the frontend + API routes. Supabase for Postgres + Auth + Storage + Realtime (one vendor, four problems solved, fair pricing past the free tier). Stripe for billing because nobody has built a better payments API. Resend for email because the alternatives are slower and more expensive at scale. Tailwind + shadcn/ui for the design system because it ships faster than custom CSS and looks better than Material UI.
Boring stack on purpose. The next developer in 12 months will not need to learn a new framework to understand it. Total monthly hosting at $0 MRR is $0 (Vercel hobby + Supabase free + Resend free). At $10K MRR you will pay roughly $60/month in infrastructure.
Pricing tiers
- Lean MVP โ $8,000-12,000. Auth + Stripe + one core feature + admin + landing. 4-6 weeks.
- AI-feature MVP โ $12,000-18,000. Above + a Claude or OpenAI integration (chat, generation, summarization, classification) with rate limiting and cost controls. 6-7 weeks.
- Collaborative MVP โ $18,000-25,000. Multi-user features (shared workspaces, real-time editing, permissions, invites). Marketplace patterns also live here. 7-8 weeks.
- Ongoing maintenance โ $1,500/month after delivery. Bug fixes, dependency updates, small feature additions. Cancel anytime.
How we differ from typical dev shops
Most agencies want a $50,000-100,000 contract with a 6-month timeline and 4 people billing against you. We work solo or with one collaborator, ship in 4-8 weeks, and price for the actual scope of "first version that proves people will pay." If you need 6 months of work, you do not need an MVP โ you need a Series A.
You can also try Lovable first for free if your idea is a standard CRUD pattern โ we are happy to take the rescue project later if Lovable hits its ceiling.
When NOT to hire us
- You have not talked to 10 potential customers yet. Go do that first โ landing page + Stripe checkout link costs $0.
- Your SaaS is in healthcare (HIPAA), legal, or financial services and you do not have a compliance officer.
- You want to pay in equity instead of cash. Not how we work.
- You expect the MVP to scale to 1M users on day one. It scales to 5,000-10,000 active users comfortably.
- You want us to also do marketing, sales, and growth. We build software.
