Four sponsorship formats
1. Dedicated newsletter send — $500-1,500
Your message to our full subscriber list. You write a draft, we edit for tone and add an honest qualifier ("I tested this for 3 days, here's what surprised me"). You see the final draft before send. Audience size grows monthly, so pricing scales with current list size at time of send. Best for: launches, free trial campaigns, time-sensitive promos.
2. Native review placement — $1,500-3,500
We test your tool for 7-14 days, write a 1,500-2,500 word review, publish under our author byline with full sponsorship disclosure. Includes an affiliate link if you have a program. Reviews include genuine criticism — we have published reviews flagging real problems even when paid. Best for: products that survive scrutiny and want long-tail SEO equity (reviews rank for "[tool] review" queries indefinitely).
3. Comparison-page inclusion — $500-1,000
We add your tool to relevant /compare and /tools pages with a balanced verdict against existing competitors. Permanent placement, not time-bound. Best for: tools competing directly with Lovable, Cursor, Bolt, or v0 — comparison pages get steady evergreen traffic from buyers in decision stage.
4. Banner placement — $750/month per article
Sidebar or in-content banner on our top-10-traffic articles. List of currently available articles shared on request. Best for: ongoing brand presence and retargeting setup.
What we DON'T do
- We don't sell raw backlinks. Google penalizes paid links and we maintain a clean profile. Sponsored content with `rel="sponsored"` tags is fine; pure link buys are not.
- We don't write puff pieces. All reviews include real criticism. If your tool has obvious problems, we'll mention them.
- We don't take "exposure" deals. Sponsorships are paid. Content swaps with similar-size newsletters are fine (see FAQ); pure-exposure pitches get declined.
- We don't accept crypto/NFT/gambling/MLM products. Outside the trust profile we maintain with our audience.
What you get with every sponsorship
- Pre-publish traffic data: last-90-day GSC impressions/clicks, GA4 sessions and audience geo, conversion benchmarks from past comparable sponsors
- Post-publish performance report: clicks, conversions (if pixel tracking is set up), and any audience feedback we received
- UTM-tagged links so you can validate against your own analytics
- Editorial calendar coordination — we don't double-stack sponsors in the same week
How to start
Email hello@blackwood.management with: your product URL, target audience description, and which format(s) you're considering. We respond within 24 hours with traffic data and a quote. If we don't think your product fits our audience, we'll tell you up front and decline rather than waste your money.
